Scholarly communication is entering a new phase which we can provisionally call Publishing 3.0 where long-standing conventions of how we publish, read, and review are being reimagined. New models are emerging, from open and transparent review to AI-assisted evaluation, community-driven validation, and modular or continuous publishing formats.
This session brings together innovators from across publishing, research, and technology to explore alternative ways of scholarly communication.
Through proactive discussion, participants will help map how these innovations could form a more credible, inclusive, and sustainable publishing ecosystem.
